However, some home button replacements will only have the function of cosmetic appeal. iPhone Battery Replacement

In many cases, a dead battery will cause the device not to power on, not take a charge, or the battery will drain very quickly. Most times, a new battery will fix these issues. This is a fast repair that will help your device return to normal function.

iPhone Charging Port Replacement

In many cases, a charging port replacement will fix the issue of the phone not charging. If the issue is not fixed after a new charging port, further diagnosis may be required to determine if the issue is logic board (motherboard) related.

COMPUTER REPAIR

Malware Removal

Malware is a piece of code/software intentionally designed to cause damage to a computer, often rendering the computer slow and/or unusable. Malware includes viruses, spyware, and adware. Malware removal helps to get your computer back on the road and free of malicious programs; however, a fresh operating system install is still recommended over the malware removal since viruses have already done damage to the system.

RAM Upgrade

RAM is essential for a computer. Without any RAM, a computer will not turn on. As the computer boots, parts of the operating system and drivers are loaded into memory, which allows the CPU to process the instructions faster and speeds up the boot process. RAM often fails and needs to be replaced. Usually, the RAM is simply replaced (upgraded) to improve system speed and performance.

Operating System Install

An operating system install which is often referred to as a clean install, is a procedure in which the computer’s hard drive is completely formatted (wiped/deleted) and a new copy of an operating system is installed leaving the computer operating system in a like-new condition with no trace of the previous system (personal files, virus, etc).

Overheating

We have all had a laptop that just gets too hot to place on our laps. Ever wonder why that is? Well, laptops, as well as desktops, have a cooling system (fan/vent/heat sink) built to keep your computer running cool. Over time, these cooling devices can collect dust, and/or the thermal paste that helps conduct heat away from important chips on the motherboard can dry up. We can clean your fan(s) and place new thermal paste to help minimize the heat created by your laptop/desktop.

Data Recovery/Backup

Data recovery is the process of restoring data that has been lost, accidentally deleted, corrupted, or made inaccessible for any other reason. We recover your data by manually extracting the hard drive and making it readable on another computer, then creating a backup folder with all of your data.

LCD/Screen Replacement

The LCD is the screen in a laptop or the monitor for a desktop. It’s pretty obvious to diagnose when a screen is broken. It looks broken like shattered glass or internal “ink” spots. There may also be lines running top to bottom or across parts of the LCD or the entire LCD. Other times, the LCD may be completely black. We fix a broken LCD by completely replacing it.

Hard Drive Replacement

A hard drive is the primary computer storage device containing all the data (operating system, documents, files, music, etc.) needed to operate a computer. Without the hard drive, there is no operating system. We can use our tools to diagnose the health of your hard drive, which will let us know whether the hard drive may fail soon. Any hard drive replacement will require a new operating system install.
